Physical Activity and Post-COVID/Long-COVID

COVID-19

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of different types of training on various health parameters in Post-COVID/Long-COVID. Individuals who are still suffering from symptoms since COVID-19 or whose physical performance is still limited will complete a twelve-week cautiously monitored and progressive training program.

The aim of this research project is to explore the acute impact of specific foods (a.o. broccoli, red meat, refined grains) and beverages (a.o. milk, green tea and coffee), which have been shown to be associated with inflammatory processes, mainly in epidemiological studies, on inflammatory and oxidative stress parameters in healthy humans following a high intensity physical workout.
