On November 17th, 2023, a joint sports education doctoral colloquium took place at the University of Graz, organized by Sebastian Ruin (University of Graz) and Stefan Meier (University of Vienna). A total of 10 doctoral students from Vienna and Graz as well as from Braunschweig, Marburg, Passau and Potsdam came together at the meeting and exchanged ideas intensively with their supervisors for a day. The focus was on sports pedagogical questions regarding various understandings of the body as well as empirical research in the context of diversity. The plan is to hold such colloquia regularly in the future.
