Stefan Meier gave a lecture on the topic Everyone included?! Perspectives of students with blindness and visual impairment on exercise and sports lessons at the Austrian Integration Summit on December 5th, 2023. Opportunities and barriers to participation in exercise and sports lessons for students with blindness and visual impairment were highlighted, as the subject of exercise and sport is often considered to be a special “inclusion achievement” and the international community has an obligation to break down barriers to participation and ensure that it is as equitable as possible to enable the development of all people.
