Erasmus+ Project Match Point

27.11.2018

The Institute of Sport Science of the University of Vienna is partner of the international project “Match Point”, which is funded by the European Union as part of the Erasmus+ program.

The general objective of "Match Point" is to combat doping in recreational environment through setting up a transnational network of main sport bodies, a large European sport association and science institutions to elaborate and conceive engaging, deterring and detecting educational programs and open resource online courses leading to the non-obligatory enforcing of the new Code for behavior in tennis and grassroots sports.

Cooperative partners are the Bulgarian Tennis Federation as coordinator, the EUSA institute, the Austrian Institute for Sports Medicine, the Rumanian and the Polish Tennis Federation. The project will be implemented from 2019 until 2020.
