On December 1, from 4:30-6:30 p.m., the Center for Sport Science and University Sport will host a workshop on professionalization in volleyball as part of the Erasmus Plus project SERVE. We will talk about modern education and training approaches as well as dual career paths of athletes. The aim of the workshop is the exchange of experiences between athletes, coaches and sports teachers in volleyball, but also in other sports. The workshop will be held in German.
In the first part of the workshop, the SERVE project will present itself and the results of its studies on the topics of "Digital Tools in Sport" and "Dual Career". All participants are welcomed to join the following discussion. The second part of the event will be organized by Michael Warm, former volleyball coach of the Austrian national team, head coach at the German record champion VfB Friedrichshafen and current youth coordinator at the German Volleyball Association. He will report on the status quo as well as trends and visions in the field of digital media and gadgets in volleyball. A further round of discussion will round off the workshop.
