The article "The effect of stretch-shortening magnitude and muscle-tendon unit length on performance enhancement in a stretch-shortening cycle" was published in Scientific Reports.

In this study, the authors Martin Groeber, Savvas Stafilidis and Arnold Baca investigated the influence of stretch-shortening magnitude and muscle-tendon unit length on "residual force enhancement (rFE)" in a stretch-shortening cycle. It was shown that the positive effect of rFE is particularly important at longer muscle-tendon unit lengths.
