The aim of the project "Towards a robust and accurate video based player detection and tracking in soccer" is a robust video based tracking system for soccer. The Chinese partners are responsible for the development of the tracking algorithm/software. Our task is the evaluation of the accuracy of the resulting tracking system. For this, the LPM system will be used that is currently installed at the academy of the Austrian Football Association in St. Pölten.
A first project meeting will take place in Vienna in the beginning of 2019. Another meeting will be in Hanghzou in the end of 2019.
