The overall goal of this project was to improve the measurement-diagnosis interaction in the biomechanical analysis of human movement, integrating advanced biomechanical measurement methods of three dimensional (3D) kinematic, kinetic and surface electromyography (SEMG) data, as are practised and/or developed in the Zagreb and the Vienna laboratory facility, with mathematical diagnostic facilities, as developed in the Vienna lab. Experts were recruited from the pool of sports trainers/judges, atheletes and engineers. The project was realized in table tennis analysing the effect of physical fatigue on forehand top spin stroke exercise.
