I am a researcher, psychologist, and certified psychological coach specializing in the psychological aspects of artistic performance. With my experience as a violinist and extensive studies in psychology and violin performance across Austria, Australia, France, Sweden, and the UK, I bring a distinctive perspective to my work. In my research, I aim to transfer knowledge from sport psychology to the performing arts. Employing both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, I investigate interventions to enhance self-regulation, motivation, and attentional focus in musicians, dancers, and actors. In particular, I am interested in performance under pressure, managing performance anxiety, and understanding the mechanisms that underlie tailored interventions and psychological coaching. I hold a PhD in psychology and a licence in psychosocial counselling and am committed to bridging the gap between research and practical application.
