New article in PSE

Wolfgang Altermann and Peter Gröpel published an article on exercise and attention in the Psychology of Sport and Exercise (IF = 5.118). Eighty adolescent students completed either endurance or strength or coordination exercise intervention for 25 min. Participants' attention increased from before to after the intervention for all exercise groups, as compared with the control group. The three exercise groups improved equally and did not differ in their attentional scores after the intervention. An acute bout of exercise can bring benefits for attention regardless of the mode of exercise.
